Types of Membership

• Residents DHAI-R (Elite Membership). Permanent membership is granted to the members of Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi less joint venture projects to use and enjoy all facilities of Jacaranda Family Club subject to the payment of membership fee and abidance of Bye-Laws. In case of joint property owners all are eligible for Elite Membership in their own capacity.

• Non Residents DHAI-R (Royale Membership).  Permanent membership is granted on open public offer permitting them to use and enjoy all facilities of Jacaranda Family Club subject to payment of membership fee and abidance of Bye-Laws.

• Special Memberships
  1. Corporate. Corporate members are corporations which on grant of membership, permits them to avail and enjoy all facilities of Jacaranda Family Club for a period of ten years. The members may even be changed subject to payment of charges and abidance of Bye-Laws.
  2. Families of Shuhadas. Shuhadas Families of Armed Forces Officers are granted permanent membership (Elite) to use and enjoy all the facilities of Jacaranda Family Club subject to payment of membership fee and abidance of Bye-Laws.

• Temporary Membership
  1. Serving Armed Forces Officers.  Food services can be availed by serving army officers on production of service Identity Card respectively without being member of Jacaranda Family Club. Temporary membership is also granted to the Serving Armed Forces officers posted at Rawalpindi / Islamabad subject to the payment of membership fee & on fulfilling the criteria decided by the Club Management. 
  2. Non-Residents / Tenants.  Temporary Membership is granted for a limited duration as decided from time to time by the Club Management to the tenants of Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi and open to all the residents of Rawalpindi / Islamabad to use and enjoy all the facilities of Jacaranda Family Club subject to payment of membership fee and abidance of Bye-Laws.

Visiting Members

Members of affiliated Clubs will be allowed to use the Club for a maximum period of 30 days in a calendar year on production of introductory card from the parent Club. This period may be extended at the discretion of the Club Management up to a maximum of 90 days.

Member’s Family

Spouse of the member and unmarried children upto 28 years shall be permitted to use the Club facilities. Unmarried / dependant daughters above the age of 28 years can retain their family membership cards, however
their membership cards be renewed annually after obtaining undertaking from the basic member (parent) that his/her daughter still unmarried/dependant on a member. The obligation of dress, decorum, discipline and general conduct of the
family members will be the personal responsibility of members. 28 Years & 3 above member’s children residing with parents are eligible for the grant of ‘household membership’ subject to the payment of membership fee & fulfilling the
criteria as laid down by the Management Committee.

Suspension of Membership

Membership may at any time, at the discretion of the Management Committee, be suspended or canceled for misconduct or non-compliance with the Club Rules and Bye-Laws.

Transfer of Membership 

Membership can be transferred in the name of spouse only on the death of a member. If the spouse is not interested it shall stand cancelled.

Required Documents

• CNIC Copy of the Applicant & Spouse
• NADRA Family Certificate / B Form
• 3 x Passport size pictures of the Applicant & 2 x Passport size pictures of Each Family Member. (White Background not older than Six Months)
• Photocopy of Retirement / Release order (For Armed Forces Officers).
• Photocopy of the last Highest Certificate / Degree of the Applicant & Spouse.
• Photocopy of Parent’s JFC Membership Card & CNIC
  (For Household Membership).
• Separate Pay Orders / Bank Drafts in favour of Defence Housing Authority Islamabad for Registration & Membership Fee of related category.

Note:- Membership application form is to be collected from Club Affairs Department of Jacaranda Family Club during office hours.
